Who is Jas Imani?
I am a mother, a constant student and a lover of skincare. Before starting Jas Imani Beauty I worked in the fashion industry for over 15 years as a buyer and creative director. I left my successful career in fashion for two reasons. First, I am concerned with how fashion is affecting our environment and knew I couldn’t personally take on that fight from within the industry. And second, I understood I am most joyful and motivated when working with other women. Here in NY (well everywhere) we are overworked. But when receiving a beauty treatment we are prepared to shut off and, in a way, center. So I wanted to elevate that experience in every way possible.
I want to, not only bring a better experience to the clients, but also to the artists who work on them. I am building a safe working environment for all.
I am a licensed esthetician based in New York City. Graduated from The Aveda Institute of Esthiology. Certified and privately trained in lash extensions. Certified Yumi Lash esthetician. My work with Jas Imani Beauty has been featured in the Strategist, Teen Vogue, Into The Gloss, Harpers Bazaar, and many other publications celebrating natural lash care and growth.
