Project Manager/Assistant

WE ARE LOOKING FOR An assistant to the owner who can project manage.

This position is starting out as a part-time freelance position with room to grow into full time. 20-25hrs/week. You must live in NYC but can work from home.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Has the ability to juggle multiple intersecting priorities. This role will be critical in facilitating collaboration between cross-functional teams.

  • Keeping the business up to speed on monthly processes as we build the bigger vision. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about problem-solving and improving the customer's experience within a new mold.

  • We want someone who is aware of our environment and interested in how we can leave the smallest footprint behind.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project management: Manage all projects through third party app. Maintains updated and accurate project budgets, timelines, resource allocation, meeting agendas & recaps, test plans, communications plans.

  • Assisting the Owner: Balance business needs and project constraints. Daily check-ins with the owner to keep timelines on track.

  • Customer Service: Help run and maintain our booking platform with systems. We approach clients and each other with a human approach and would love someone who can communicate with clarity and compassion.

  • Data Management: We need someone who can coordinate and help organize client info through third party apps in order for us to strategize and map quarterly initiatives. As new treatments and services launch I would like you to be able to pull proper reporting so decisions can be made that best serve the artist and excite our clients.

  • Research: We are constant learners. We want someone with an eye for innovativeness for products and service.  

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Familiarity with Mailchimp, Shopify, Squarespace, Klaviyo, G Suite, Acuity, Instagram, Excel, and Monday (or a similar task management program)

  • A knack for organizing and time management

  • Strong attention to detail and organization

  • The ability to respond to emails in a timely fashion

  • Project management experience + analytical skills

  • Be familiar with beauty products and services

  • Passion about women's empowerment and how to build an infrastructure that truly supports them

  • A deep understanding of diversity

ABOUT US: Jas Imani is a growing beauty space and product line specializing in keratin lash lifts, brow lifts, lash extensions, brow shaping and tinting. All styling is done with an artist-centered approach in a modern studio. We prioritize lash growth and a natural enhancement of lashes and brows.

Our studio and treatments are ushering in a new wave of beauty spaces. We are creating spaces that rethink the service model in beauty. We serve the artist, the client, and our community.
